ftr, i've always thunk that the tsa is simply a bureaucracy out of control and if you look at how fast it has grown, it is easy to see why. i've never thought it to be an orchestrated effort to foster & grow a police state/remove freedoms.
a bureaucracy can change, the tsa appears to be trying to do that. i have no idea if it will fix it's own problems or not.
