Year ago I was at a wedding reception that was going well but I had to drive a friend home. When I got back, the parking lot was filled with cop cars and they where hauling off dozens of those there.
While I was gone, the groom and the bride's father had an argument. Someone called the cops and when they showed up, one of the two pushed the cop of out the way telling him to mind his own business.
At that point the dweeb ass cop called in for assistance and they came, in loads and in fact, even the Police Helicopter showed up.
The cops began to riot pretty much, swinging clubs at anyone in their way including some women, then hauled off everyone they beat up saying they assaulted cops. One of my friends was at the wedding in a walker from broken femur he had. Like he was a threat? A guy in a walker?
It ended up with the Anaheim Police firing several officers and a huge lawsuit which the City of Anaheim had to pay out. Being fresh out of law school, I was one of those who got most of my friends released that night.
It was a major mess and since then, I've never had the same view of cops.
