We're still waiting to get into the endo, but the one she's (the doc) trying to get us in to is supposed to be very good. Supposedly most endos are just for diabetics, mostly, and this one knows the thyroid real well.
Got in for an inexpensive or free sonogram but we didn't even know (weren't told) it was still needed after having the re uptake scan (thought that was done in place of the sonogram) so of course we get the letter in the mail the day AFTER the appointment we never knew about
And there is a waiting list, if you miss the appointment, you have to wait a year. So after a half of an hour on the phone we managed to get it re scheduled for today! Good work, that is good .. I think!
Not sure what the sonogram will tell them.. The re uptake scan was inconclusive..... found small lesions that "may be cold or hot"... I think the sonogram lets them look a little closer at the actual tissue
