I've been trying to make my new sites more mobile friendly and I had no way to test iOS compatability so I finally bought an iPad. For all the shit talking I do on apple I have to admit this thing is pretty nice. I see why you apple fanboys love them. I'm going to stick to my Asus Transformer though. My only gripes with the iPad so far:

One tinny-sounding little speaker. iPad sounds like absolute shit without headphones. Transformer sounds a lot better.
A lot of similar apps that are free on Android cost money in the apple store. Some of the apple apps do look more polished and professional.
I have to have itunes running on a computer. I fucking hate iTunes.
No flash. Not sure if this is gripe or a feature yet. Time will tell.
Wireless isn't as good as the transformer. Downstairs the wireless coverage sucks in places. The transformer stays connected. The iPad doesn't. My Dell laptop drops wireless a lot down there too. Funny thing is my MacBook doesn't.
iPad is very simplistic. I prefer an assload of options.
iPad is locked down tight. My transformer is already rooted and running a custom rom.

Most of those are minor gripes. The iPad is a cool little toy.
