You can try green tea, it has caffeine that will probably alleviate the withdrawal, but it's not the jittery type of caffeine so you won't really feel buzzed or energized. Green tea is good for weight loss too.

One thing I've found for energy, and this may sound strange, but don't mix foods. Meaning when you eat, only eat one type of food per meal. This is sort of based on the Gracie diet and it makes sense when you think about it. Digestion is VERY hard for your body and takes a lot of energy, you just don't realize it because it happens automatically. But that's why when you eat a big meal you get tired, it's because your body knows it has a shit load of work ahead of it.

So if you make digestion as easy as possible, you save all that energy for other stuff. Trust me, stop mixing foods and you'll get an energy boost.
