And I don't think there was EVER supposed to be only 2 "sides" to begin with.
The Republican and Democratic parties have taken over our govt. plain and simple.

These days the govt. controlled media tells us that ANY candidate who isn't a Republican or a Democrat is not a "serious candidate" and can not win an election. And we're all conditioned to believe that and so it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
