It would hit the shops where the people on welfare buy goods, put some shop workers out of a job and on benefits, which have been cut. So the angry mob just grew.
Then the people who own the shops that went out of business, will feel the pinch and they will have to spend less. These shops that get hit and will have to cut back ..........
And so it goes on.
Here's a better idea. Tax all imported cars, what it costs to put an American worker out of a job. Same goes for a lot of other imported goods. Shit you hardly have anything to buy now and the stores selling imported goods have to lay off people.
I love it when the GFY economists try to work something out that's so far beyond them it's like giving a monkey a loaded gun and letting him work it out for himself.
There's only a few long term solutions to the problems. Pay for what your Government spends yourself, or sell more goods overseas and sell more US made goods in the US.
Or take a giant downgrade in middle class living standards.
You all seem to think that money spent by the Government disappears. It fuels your everyday life and a load of the joins on the sites you earn from. Shit you didn't think of that did you?
