Milton's Paradise Lost is a good start.
It has dry spots, but it's all about Lucifer's fall from Heaven, and how he "makes his hell a Heaven" and seduces Eve and well, you know the rest.
Lots of detail though, like the demon who was cursed to give birth to a dozen or so hounds every morning, only to have them crawl back up inside her at night. They eat her insides for nourishment. I thought that was worth an honourable mention, at least.
