Keith actually explained what happens to junkies when they OD and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened to Amy Winehouse.
In his book he talks about when Gram Parsons OD'ed. He said that the FATAL mistake a junky always makes comes AFTER they get clean. He said that they invariably will come back to the drug some months after getting clean just to do "one more".
But he said he never made this mistake that others did: They try to do the same amount of it as they were doing when they quit. Not realizing that their bodies can no longer do that much because their systems are now clean. And then they OD and die.
So basically, since Amy Winehouse got clean over the last few months...it killed her when she succumbed to temptation and decided to do "one more".
That is IF it's a drug overdose...and I'm guessing it is.
