Its always adjusted over time. Its almost on a straight vertical trend right now. Thats some really massive adjusting going on...
Debt has to be somewhat in line with revenue. It can't strongly outpace revenue. The problem is simple... government outspends revenue. It has nothing to do with the cost of goods and services and so on.
