well is it ? if you pay for the room 300 pounds monthly and, let's say you earn minimum wage which is around 6 pounds/hour...you have to "work" for that room 50 hours....
In Poland, for example
, if you get minimum wage, which is about 8 pln/ hour and you pay for the room 700 pln....you have to work for that room 90 hours heh....
Yes I know that is rather extreme example, but that's the way it is...
In Europe purchasing power is the best in UK and Germany, I think.....
