It's ok to make choices for yourself, however if you are an elected official you have the duty to make choices for your country's citizens based on what is good for both them and the country. Not to use that choice as some tool for their next re-election campaign.

I saw an analyst on CNN who showed numbers for the upcoming month of August:
The U.S. govt. will take in 174 BILLION dollars in revenue. It will spend 303 BILLION dollars.

And that happens every goddamn month! It has to stop and stop now.
Quite convenient for them to finally have enough and vote "no" when it's a Democrat holding the Whitehouse.
