the transformer sounds good and of course has some obvious advantages (keyboard dock, flash, usb, SD card, no itunes, etc) but having had both i have to say ipad2 all the way.
the transformer's stock browser constantly crashes, even while using googles own sites like gmail. when it restarts it doesn't remember any of the tabs you had open. the onscreen keyboard input is abysmal, it's very laggy most of the time to the point that it's almost unusable. it's also awkwardly sized (stretched out) and noticeably heavier than the ipad. androids app store for honeycomb also leaves a lot to be desired.
i have an android phone and on paper prefer everything android, but in reality the ipad2 shits all over the transformer.
