You're still thinking that affiliates had to be competed with. They were supported by sponsors. Yes if one site went out on it's own, it would fail.
Today they rule the online porn and it's them sites have to cater to first. Sponsor comes next, to pay for everything and customer third.
Which is why customers are getting fewer.
If in 2007 it would of taken a program to build the traffic, why how were affiliates able to do it? What came first, affiliates or sites?
