I think the media just reports on the failures more. And we all remember it more because it's human nature to want to see the mighty fall.
I can quickly name George Foreman, JayZ, PDiddy, Spike Lee, Eddie Murphy, Magic Johnson, "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson, Kanye West, Wilt Chamberlain, and many more.
We just don't care about them because success isn't as big a ratings draw for the news as a big time crash and burn is.
