How ignorant you must be to try to find any meaning in that photo above? At first place, Riva was introduced in 1980, and people simply need and want to have cheap, and reliable car. That car would still be bought all over the world because it can work in extreme conditions. As far as I know it wasn't sold only in Eastern EU, Africa and Asia, but also to UK, France, I think Germany also (I am not sure about that).
