I know one family spawned from an anchor baby, now in it's 3rd generation, that hasn't found it important to learn/speak English yet, yet they are all American citizens. NONE of the family members has ever held anything other that casual PT jobs. EVERY one of those family members has/have had public assistance to the point of it being their "livelihood". If there were a million illegal Canadian coming across the border no one would bat an eye.
