I starting doing 3d on the Amiga500 (6Mhz) back in the days. Would take 24 hours to do 1 image at 800x600 res. On a P4 it takes about 2 seconds. And it's slow - considering there is 1000's of frames in each animation and of course the objects are building now not balls on a floor.
