Pretty simple you have a right to defend yourself. However once the threat is gone you DO NOT have the right to kill a motherfucker. If the kid was downand not a threat you call the cops. Don't be Dirty Harry. This is why I dislike guns. Any MORON can have one. Maybe 38 years is a bit much, but I don't feel sorry for the guy. He took it too far. Maybe the next Dirty harry wannabe will think twice. He won't do 38 years anyways. He'll be out within 15 years.
