I'm no bleeding heart liberal, and I don't feel bad for a dead thug kid, but --- was the force administered equal to the force of the threat? Were the robbers carrying guns also?
You have the right to defend yourself, but overdoing it will probably not look good to a jury, especially when they have to consider the racial tension element of a not guilty verdict.
