In this day and age almost anything is within reason.. because so many fucked up things happen.

It isn't impossible to imagine that the mom was a basket case shitty liar mom but that someone else killed her daughter.. because shit like that happens everyday.

In civil cases it is preponderance of the evidence not beyond reasonable doubt , thats why o.j. was found guilty in civil, in a civil case your side just has to have more evidence in favor than the other side to get a guilty verdict.

I wonder if anyone can sue her for murder in civil court ?

The only people that can sue Casey Anthony for "wrongful death" in a civil suit are people that have a direct interest in the toddler. That would be the dad (who is dead), or the grandparents George and Cindy. Highly unlikely that George and Cindy are going to sue their own daughter, who doesn't have any assets anyhow.
