You'd be surprised how many people don't care if they're in jail. I couldn't even believe it. One guy even said "my wife makes me work three jobs out in the heat, I'd rather stay here". Hell it was 70F inside the whole time.
Me I was like a caged animal ready to tear the walls down half of the time. But some of those clowns are just there for "three hots and a cot". Which they often lose. The aforementioned "three hots". To someone like me. Who then trades the horrible jail food for "crunch". High in sugar, high in fat, junk food. Or coffee. Coffee is important.
But so many are in there because they can't afford to bond out.. you know, the county gets $55 per day to keep them there. So if you get stuck in there with no one on the outs, fuck you man, you're there indefinitely.
Then the ones I spoke of who want to stay, they just never do bond out.
I think eventually they MIGHT make them do community service after a long long time.
But they put something in EVERYTHING that comes in (I think it's salt peter) that completely takes your sex drive away. And I think something about being around nothing but males causes me to not produce testosterone because I wasn't horny ONE time while I was on lockdown... at all
