That makes no sense. Governments screw up all the time - currency is devalued - they are after all just human beings running the government. I.E. ..where are the WMD's? To think that our government would never allow such a thing to happen is to say that other governments sat back and said ..ya bring it on baby without any reasoning. A chain of non-intentional, or intentional (as the NYTIMES editorial was intimating) actions bring a government to the brink. Simple fact...for our industry..Bush sux and I hope for all our sakes he gets booted in 04
