"A man proven against his will is of the same position still" (JFK).. but I should note that the chart posted isn't the NASDAQ, but the DOW. And the NASDAQ crashed in March '01, yeah, but the broad economy didn't decline much at all. Even after September 11th, it didn't really, though people for some reason blame everything on that. If you look at the DOW chart, it goes right back up to its pre-september 11th levels about a month later. The economy really didn't start to falter until the results of Bush's retarded tax cuts started to show
