The issue with this is that for new sales, you have a problem with many people already being a member. However, the members which are not already exposed convert way better on AFF then on any alternative.
Therein lies the dilemma. Right now, AFF is still leading by a long margin when it comes to conversions but, in my personal view, it might make sense to try and focus on critical mass as the traffic on there is falling.
For instance, too many chat rooms looking "kinda empty" doesnt do much for the appeal so reduce some of the less popular "generic" as opposed to "geo specific" chat rooms. Focus forum messages into a bigger critical mass.
