The kinds of anti-smoking laws I support are the ones that say if the smoke you are producing is in proximity to other people in such a way that they might breath it in then your so-called "rights as a smoker" cease to exist, period.
Smoking alone in your car should be allowed. Smoking outdoors in an area where there are only other smokers and no one else OR you are far enough away from other people that it's a non-issue then you should be allowed to smoke your brains out.
But again, the long-term health fallout from smoking IS a huge drain on any society that allows it, so expect harsher and harsher anti-smoking laws in more and more countries as time goes on.
It's just the way times are changing, and frankly I support it.
