Yeah I am pretty sure that they started it in '96
I remember setting a program to download her pictures from some newsgroup and going to sleep... so I'd have a couple of hundred downloaded while I slept
And then I remember downloading her videos from irc ! servers ... Ha ha ha .. go to bed and IF IT DIDN'T STOP a thirty minute video might be there by morning if you were lucky
