I heard it was the best of the 3 before going to it so I had high expectations. Despite that, i found it somewhat enjoyable. It was insanely too long (2h 37mins), had far too many corny comedy scenes in it but other than that it's entertaining. They made efforts in limiting the super fast cut scenes in action sequences by adding lots of slow motion shots, which was good because you can see what is actually happening, but also bad because it slows down the pace of each scene. Not worth seeing in 3d either as if that were a surprise.

I have real problems with all of these movies because the characters had so much life in the original cartoons. Gravely and war torn voices, attitudes and personalities that were memorable. The live action movies fall short of that. They spent more time on the cgi than having any character development. I still have a hard time telling the decepticons apart because they are all gray and move too fast... at least the autobots have colours now but some sort of introduction to these characters would help people care whats going on more I would believe.
