:stop EU puts up new laws for online shopping: no pre-checked x-sales, no hidden fees, 14 days cooling-off

the EU works on new consumer laws regarding online shopping, a few of them could be crucial for adult online as well - like no pre-checked x-sales:

Quote:
EU Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Viviane Reding said: ‘‘It will end abuse, for example the extra charges on credit cards, boxes that are already pre-selected on websites, or when we have to purchase something extra when all we want to buy is a plane ticket and not a meal or insurance. Such unforced purchases, will not exist in the future.’‘

or a general 14 day cooling-off period

Quote:
A 14-calendar-day cooling-off period for online purchases. In many countries, such as the UK, shoppers have seven working days to return items bought on the internet that they do not want to keep
