I am a compu-nerd. I can easily find myself coding for days without showering, eating very minimally and dehydrated. Left to my own devices my office gets pretty rank. Before my girlfriend and I moved in together my room/office used to be a cesspool.

So I noticed my office was getting pretty rank. My mood was depressed from my usual upbeat self. While I was spending more time in the office, I was getting less done!

My girlfriend just cleaned my office. She opened the window, opened the blinds... Now it smells of lemons and cleaner. It is bright and I can hear the song of birds outside. A light, cool breeze is hitting my face.

My mood went back to cheery, even though she "misplaced" about 90% of my cluttered desk. I don't care. ;)

And I just got more done in the last 5 hours than I have in the last 24!
