What programs hold the largest creative meetings for new concepts/ideas?

Every year I see a program come up with one "big idea", in terms of reformatting an old pitch or adding something slightly new to it, or something almost original. Inventing a new way to generate customers, or make it look new. A new approach into generating sales.

Shortly after that new sales point/method is established, every other program usually adopts something similar to add to to their own arsenal of attack. As in, that looks so good it must work, why aren't we doing it. Leaving the real advantage to initial exclusivity and timing. These ideas range from things as simple as the format of a landing page, to fresh from scratch new methods of billing, to bringing other aspects of mainstream into the mix and transforming them to fit adult. Sometimes it's just a phrase, like "facebook of sex, etc".

Undoubtedly, countless people have had their ideas stolen or copied and have been cut out. There seems to be no real insurable way to pitch an idea to any of these larger programs to be considered, and even less to be considered safely. I understand they have creative departments assigned for this, with their own people on the job.

But I'm surprised that none of the "hungrier" programs aren't a little bit more open to hearing out independent contractor's ideas and pitches. Is that because ideas are so easy to copy/steal?

Surely there are countless webmasters who have had "game changing" ideas that they were never able to realize due to lack of resources, and it's very difficult to farm out a concept when your the little man. I guess I'm just wondering why more of the larger programs with such extended resources aren't more open to hearing from individuals outside of their company. So if you do have an ingenious concept, your forced to try to format it to something on a very small scale, and once you've broken those barriers and have it converting, your probably going to get jacked and over run.

Perhaps there is room for a creativity broker, someone who can fill in the gaps from the individual to the corporation/company. As it seems to me, the only time you can ever garner resources for a great concept, is if you are already pushing large volumes in sales for that program.

Even if you do get a pitch off to a larger program who seems interested, it's very difficult to ensure they won't just develop the concept on their own and not cut you out of your own idea.

Has anyone on this board ever pitched a concept to another program for development with a good outcome? Does anyone have any decent resources to get in touch with trustworthy companies who value "good business ethics"?

There needs to be a more viable way to get a really good concept from the individual to the company. I know there are huge mainstream companies that have adopted this kind of "open door" idea policy, and are eager to hear from individuals.. but haven't seen anything like that in adult, which is still big business.

Much appreciation to any helpful information or contributions on this matter
