yeah they are talked about on stern because they are advertisers, but tubes like pornhub, keez, xnxx, youporn, xvideos etc have none of that crap and suck up most of the traffic.
those tubes you mention are just bottom feeders of the main ones.
no average surfer talks about paysites irl. they talk about spankwire.

No head in the sand at all, MANY of these "bigger" tubes launch so many ads and popups that the browser just closes (unless you have an ad blocker running) here's a shot I just took of vids2c (the one I called videoC in my prior post)
I've marked the ads with squares, 5 of the ads on that page are "floaters" (Left, Right and flash vid bottom right'ish side) the other 2 are below and they pop up to your eyes the moment you move the screen.
the page threw 4 popups at me, one being livejasmin (LiveJasmin ads are what normally crashes firefox on me lol)
I know ads are a staple, always have been always will in some way shape or form, but to me this is no diff then years ago when "free porn sites" were filled with malware and other "fun stuff" all it takes is your browser crashing on you once to make you not want to visit the site again free or not.
All I was saying is that people I've talked to around here don't 'trust' tube sites and the example above is a perfect example of why they might not trust them.
