I see this "industry" this way: there are two types of people running Pay sites these days.
1. Those with long-term thinking. People who expect and plan for being in business (THIS business) for years to come. So they have support, updates, are relatively on top of things because hey, it's their BIZNIZZ baby.
2. Short-term thinkers. People who throw up content whereever and however they can find outlets for it (clip stores, paysites, tubes, ads, wherever). They do this in, say, January with only ONE goal in mind:
"Let's see how much I can make by Springtime so I can buy a Harley."
There ya go. Choose your business partners wisely.
