There was some weird test in the movie Singles too, like a sneeze test and if the guy didn't say Bless You or something he was worthless.
I knew a programmer that was always trying to find the ultimate question to ask a girl to determine her personality. Like if you could map out a flow chart of the way people think and feel about things, and you pictured that as a pyramid, he was looking for the question that would be at the top. The thing about people though is that they aren't always consistent. You can ask someone a question 2 different ways and get two different answers.
I guess the door test or any test is kind of like that too. I get what it's supposed to say about someone, but what if the girl or guy is too busy talking to notice the doors are locked or they are having a spaced out moment, seems silly to me to look for a tell like that. Doesn't always indicate selfishness.
