But i know about politics. This is what the main strategy local politics use here.
- They put several stakeholders with different interest together
- The say they had been adepted by the industry and have a commision to think things over
- All input will be mixed.
- The result is some rules nobody can agree upon, but you have to because there are different interest and you have to give a little, take a little.
- The rules will be presented as negotiated rules, made by the industry, marketeers, webmasters, mainstream companies, child protection, etcetra.
- And than they will try to make it mandotary because these are the rules 'the people' wants.
As a member of the policy council you have explain to the group you represent why you agreed with those rules that most people don't want.
And at the end people adapt, just like the tubes are adapted and people want to be in the policy council next time they need a new candidate.
