She had two guys come at the same time. One older, one younger. The older guy got here first and just as most of you predicted... This is bad, that's toast, those need to go, nope, this is the wrong one, won't pass smog with that, this needs to be changed.
Then the younger guy shows up. Oh, my dad and I can fix that... This is just fine, it's to be expected on a car this old... etc.. etc...
The old guy was getting pissed! He had got my daughter to "think about" $1400 as a "high" offer with all of these problems it has...
The young guy has $1800 in cash and later on confessed to her that he brought $2200 in case he got into a bidding war!
He quickly handed her the $1,800 and the older guy split. Very pissed off. Like he was owed something and somebody took it.. lol
Young guy got the car and I fully expected him to get her number too.. haha!
As for buying another... Grandma and Auntie are taking her to do that next week. Someone will make a lot of money on that transaction... But it won't be my money.
