You can use the word teen, just not on a porn website.
You are big on math right? What percentage of 'teens' are 18+? Is it fair to say that the word 'teen' refers more to underage children than it does 18 and 19 year olds?
The word isn't being banished, it is being banished when put in the context of an adult website because when you say teens you mean 80% children.
