You're right, but assuming the deal was good for both sides, it could work. In this case, CG seems to be having serious problems making any money with his domain. Selling it would be a mistake for him so I think his best solution would have been to lease it to someone for a fair price.
That is, until I heard today that you pawned it. OMG.. Thats ... thats something alright..
