I guess it depends on the area, but I know that I tend to avoid them without even knowing I'm doing it. It's just a way to dodge liability and probably doesn't do much more than piss people off.
I'd rather do business or trade with good people who are not slime balls.
Do you think it makes some other people feel safer, and more likely to go to those businesses, though? A no guns sign? People ARE pretty stupid and I could see that happening, bad as things are in Amerikka these days
