Double-opt-in mailing is the only way to go!

100,000 double-opt-ins in a niche market; makes no difference what that market is; spark plugs, software, condoms, a nice little tool kit, a service.....makes no never mind. Those 100,000 people are already on the net, predisposed to buy on the net and have signed up to receive emails outlining your offers, indicating that they have enough interest to complete the signup process.

You have invested in this thing the time and effort to collect the emails, obtaining the product or service for resale, a nifty mailing software; with double-opt-in you don't even need a bulk mail server and of course you must have the ability to write a decent text and the willingness to push the "SEND" button.

100K emails sent to double-opt-in sighups will bring you 5-7% click-throughs.

That's 5,000 to 7,000 purchases and sometimes more if you are selling really good stuff.

If it's a $10 thing, that's $50,000.00 for pushing the send button and could be $70,000.00!

If it's a $50 thing, that's $250,000 at 5% response and $350,000.00 at a 7% response.

And it's all legal, the banks love you, the credit card processors love you, the customer gets a good deal and all involved make money.

You just keep doin' your Google dance, mkay and leave money-making to the pros.
as long as the people opted in to receive your offers, and wasn't a purchased list where they agreed to someone else's offers. blacklists will still hate you and cause problems, which can cause problems for your hosting and sometims processing though.
