Good entry level camera?

I started in photography in high school decades ago, developed my own black and white film, then color. I've had a Canon AV1 and a Canon A1. I started with a pentax.

I had a Sony Mavica for a few year, the one with the mini cd in it, but the reader went tits up, so I'm in the mind of getting a new Camera, something that I can have fun with, do some outside shots of Briana with, take pics at conventions. I have a lot of respect for Canon, Sony and Nikon.

So what do you think I should get and where should I buy it?

Thanx

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
