my guess you made that all up too lol
i can't keep up with you... first i don't have any family, then i do but they are outsiders, then they don't work in the seafood industry, now they do but they got a check from BP.

If they got a check, didn't get a check, and for how much has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that you took fishermans spot. The only mention I have made to having family that was in the seafood industry was that I personally knew people who put their name on the list to get hired and you (adult designer from california) managed to pull some strings and get hired before a LOT of fisherman who were out of work were hired. period.

How much did you get paid for *volunteering*. You know how stupid that sounds, you *volunteered* for a high paying job. You sucked the dick of BP to make checks to pay your bills but you hate BP. so that is so hilarious, I know you try to justify it in your head, but if you really wanted to *volunteer* there was a lot of things you could have done like help raise money for the people out of work... You could have done a lot of REAL volunteer work without bowing down to big bad BP, but volunteer work doesn't pay and you needed the money since you failed out of adult. You didn't want to *volunteer* you wanted to make those fat BP checks.... poser.

Here is a couple more things REAL VOLUNTEERS were doing, the ones that weren't paid:

• The National Audubon Society is coordinating its response with government officials to ensure a smooth process. Prospective volunteers who sign up at AudubonAction.org will be connected with state and federal agencies, Audubon leaders and other volunteer organizations that are in need of assistance.

• Many more organizations are not yet in action but are gathering information from volunteers. Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research is accepting volunteer signups by phone, mail or e-mail as the group prepares to rehabilitate affected animals. Call (302) 737-9543 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting (302) 737-9543 end_of_the_skype_highlighting for more information.

Catholic Charities is providing food, rent and utilities aid and is currently in need of volunteers to help outreach to families who work in fishing-related industries affected by the oil spill.

Here is a real VOLUNTEER you poser: "I grew up in New Orleans and went through Katrina," said Barbara Siefken, an unemployed attorney. She interrupts her job search twice a week to drive two hours to and from St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Port Sulpher to hand out food vouchers and baby supplies, or help fishermen sign up for services offered by the state or charities. "I know what volunteers did for us. I just wanted to give some of that back."
