To give an idea of drop out rates, I asked the HAZWOPER instructor about it and he said out of class of 40 people trained, less than 6 would stay after first day and most never lasted more than 2 weeks....
"many people apply, but very few return after the first day. The work is long and tiring, and for many it hurts their pride. "

I saw a marine brag in class about how they should just bring in the marines, - I then saw him quit on his very first day. the heat wearing tyvek in
crew boat alone made him quit. it was totally unbearable.
it was the hardest work ill probably ever do in my life, the skin on my hands is still fucked up and my arm joints were swollen so much i still feel it.
thats what it looked like.
never called anyone a pussy just stating facts.
