Which is only part of increased costs in any given food commodity. There have been plenty of food commodities that have decreased in price while fuel prices have risen, which should be your first clue that the issue is not as simple as you would like to argue it.

Of course, you would know that if you bothered to look at the numbers.

wrong. the headline CPI does address this as I have repeatedly told you. there are line items for energy and food. my 7 year old son can read these, why can't you?

You neither understand what you write nor the implications of the data you cite.

I think I understand completely why this is so, but I've exhausted myself trying to explain it you so I'll just leave you to your misunderstandings.
Fuck dude, why do you have such a hard on for one sentence I've said

Are you? did you figure in inflation, thats double considering gas prices
Are you always ready to write a dissertation on what you think I implied when I have told you over and over what I mean and what I said. Is that vein in your neck throbbing right now?

gas prices are double what they were 2 years ago, yes or no?
Corn prices have gone up in the last year, beef has gone up
please tell one food price in the US thats gone down?
Kraft took two slices out there packages and sold it for the same price, other packaged foods are going down in size for the same price.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
