Right. Which is another way of saying across the board "inflation". Inflation
of gas prices is something different; more specific. But again, that may be what you are retreating to, but it is not what you typed.

Which is only part of increased costs in any given food commodity. There have been plenty of food commodities that have decreased in price while fuel prices have risen, which should be your first clue that the issue is not as simple as you would like to argue it.
Of course, you would know that if you bothered to look at the numbers.
