They are stuck in a job / relationship / living situation they hate but they've been living with it so long they are afraid to change. It's almost like they're on auto pilot, letting themselves be dominated by anxiety and fear of failure or the unknown.

It's kind of like the devil you know is better than the devil you don't- but really, unless you have children to consider, if you're unhappy don't let anything stop you. It seems alot of people are so afraid of failure that they'd rather live in misery than try.

I guess what I'm trying to say is if you're unhappy with where you are or what you got, why hold on to it so tight you miss the opportinity for something better? Be smart about it, not saying anyone should quit a job if they don't have something else lined up or walk out on a wife and kids.. just saying maybe not to focus on everything as success or fail, maybe make toe goal just to change up the game. If you find yourself unhappy with something, become your own agent of change. Know out the gate you won't be successful at everything you try, but if you don't try can you really be satisfied with the alternative?

Sorry if I'm rambling...
groundhog day life. working online behind a computer since 21...it starts to get old. i wanna do something bigger than myself. i wanna do something crazy, i want the world to take notice... i wanna matter..but its hard to do when the majority of time is spent just surviving, paying bills and all that bullshit. is too late to chase "foolish" childhood dreams in your 30's?
