I see what you're saying, but I think the more likely scenario will be Pakistan will even moreso say to the US, "Ok, sir.", "Yes, sir"...
And if they don't, all the US has to do is point to the neighboring country of Afghanistan and say, "You want your country to look like that in 6 months time? Get in line, and learn your place!".
