Someone posted in another thread that people always post complaints, but people generally don't post when they like something. And you know what, he's right. So I decided to start this thread because
I love SecuredServers.com
I come from a sysadmin / network admin background so I don't need managed servers. I've hosted dedicated servers at a lot of places, including The Planet, SwiftCo, FDCServers, Pair.com, ServerPronto, GSID and more. I've also had shared hosting at HostGator, AmeriNOC, and others. SecuredServers has been my absolute favorite host by far.
I've been with SecuredServers for over 7 months now. The network is rock solid, and they keep upgrading it. Each time I'm notified that I might have possible downtime of a couple of minutes but only once did I have a 5 minute downtime. Absolutely no power issues at all.
I filed a ticket when I was setting up the server and got a response within 6 minutes. Reverse DNS tickets take a little longer, 10-60 minutes, but that's fine with me since it's a low priority ticket for me.
I filed a "Server Down" ticket recently and received a response in 26 SECONDS explaining that there was a DDOS attack on the network and they were fixing it. The downtime was very minimal and it was the first time I had an issue. I consider that very very good for 7 months.
My account manager even gave me his direct cell phone number in case I had issues, but I haven't had to give him a call yet. The support staff is American and very friendly.
Prices are great, support is great, the network is great. For me and my needs I don't think I could find a better host
