I'm not whining, just stating how the continuous upgrades must piss off those who are signing into agreements with their providers.
Personally, I have never been on contract to a provider. I always buy my phones outright, in fact FIDO comp'd my iPhone4 last July for nothing.
However, the majority of users go on contract. That's where they make the bulk of their money.
