Some cam sites added "tipping", it didn't *save them* it allowed them to make additional revenue from a large sector of the market they were neglecting before, the people who can't afford to spend $3, $4 etc a minute for a private show.
on some sites, members tip the girls during the private so i don't think its only about the money
